Susan Elliott

Susan Elliott is Counsel for Freyssinet, Inc., a commercial construction and engineering company specializing in post-tension cable technology and engaged in private and public projects across the country. Ms. Elliott previously worked in the D.C. office of the law firm of Peckar & Abramson, P.C., where she regularly represented commercial construction project owners, developers, general contractors and their sureties in construction litigation, surety, real estate and government contract matters, including litigation of contract disputes, payment and performance bond claims, construction lien foreclosures and business torts.

Ms. Elliott has extensive construction contracting experience, having worked in the legal department of a high-profile architecture firm based in Los Angeles. There, Ms. Elliott was responsible for drafting owner-architect and architect-consultant agreements, license and vendor contracts, and intellectual property agreements for a wide range of commercial building projects both within the United States and abroad.

For several years, Ms. Elliott also worked within the legal department of an international hotel company headquartered in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where she performed due diligence regarding hotel franchise license and management agreements, and managed lawsuits and claims for the department's litigation practice group.

Her prior experience also includes working in the legal department of one of Southern California's largest commercial office property owners, where she drafted hundreds of commercial office leases, amendments, subleases, consents, assignments, and license agreements for over one hundred office properties throughout the region.

Ms. Elliott earned her B.A. from Boston College and her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.
