Mr. David Dischley represented me during a very important case. Throughout the proceedings he remained professional and vigilant to changes. His unwavering commitment to his clients is apparent by the sheer volume of work he does on a daily basis. I can think of no better person to have as representa...tion on the most difficult of cases.

Highly Recommended - He Successfully Appealed My Case

I had been arrested for multiple misdemeanors in Arlington. After going to trial with another attorney I was sentenced to a 30 day suspended jail sentence, a year of probation with urinalysis, 48 hours of community service, ASAP and a steep fine. I worked with David to appeal my case and the resu...lts were fantastic. The 30 day sentence was removed, probation was reduced to good behavior, 24 hours of community service, no ASAP and no fine. In addition, all of my charges will be dropped in a years time. I was absolutely ecstatic. I highly recommend working with David Dischley. He answers his phone at all hours of the day - is never condescending - discusses his strategy in depth with you - and more importantly he got me the results I was looking for.

Okay, but misleading.

First time ever being in trouble so I hired David based off the reviews on this site and unfortunately I feel I was poorly represented. It started out okay and communication was there since he provided me his personal number. I voiced some concerns of mine during my pretrial time and he reassured me ...that he would see what he could do and I would be fine. I noticed at my hearing that he failed to mention my main concern the same way I saw other lawyers fight for their clients in front of the judge. It just felt like he was just trying to get it over with. I didn’t want to bother him about it and thought he would take care of it. I was eventually offered a deal which wasn’t what I expected. It included incarceration and house arrest which was shocking to me since I had just spent 5 months on pretrial house arrest without issue. I don’t get in trouble and had no plans to be ever again so that was easy. I’m then told that it won’t be house arrest for my punishment and just a GPS monitor and that I’d be able to leave my house to see my family and child. I agreed at this point because that was my only concern since I don’t live with either and haven’t seen them in a long time since this situation started. Unfortunately the punishment not being house arrest wasn’t true which I suspected when the judge read out the conditions of the GPS monitor and mentioned they would be the same as my pretrial conditions. I should have spoken up, but being new to the court system I was too scared to speak up. It was the exact opposite of what he had told me prior to that. I reached out to him when I was released asking about the conditions where he again told me it wasn’t house arrest, but it is. The fact that I can get groceries, find a job and go to the bank somehow makes it not house arrest for him. I wasn’t opposed to the monitor, but I hoped he would say something about the conditions of it after cooperating for 5 months and going to jail and I still can’t see my family or child who lives in another state 1.5 hours away. I now plan to call another lawyer to see what I can do to change my situation.
