I paid $70 for a phone consultation, and I terminated the call within less than three minutes, as Mr. Breeden both interrupted and raised his voice at me. He first cut me off, saying that I started in the middle of story and he needs to to know the first page. At that moment, I realized that he eithe...r hadn't read the intake brief that I sent to his office days ago or he doesn't want the case. I insisted to get to the bottom of it: did he at least *receive* my written brief or not? He refused to answer and commanded me to again, start with the page one of the story. The argument escalated. Within seconds, I terminated the call, telling Mr. Breeden that I'm concerned that our communications have already broken down and I have no confidence in working with him.
