Thomas Ray Breeden

My experience was incredibly disappointing. After waiting over two weeks for a consultation, I was charged a fee only to be told that the attorney would not take my case. The consultation itself provided no meaningful advice or direction. Essentially, I paid for the privilege of being told "no" after... a long wait. This provided zero value, and I cannot recommend this attorney.

I paid $70 for a phone consultation, and I terminated the call within less than three minutes, as Mr. Breeden both interrupted and raised his voice at me. He first cut me off, saying that I started in the middle of story and he needs to to know the first page. At that moment, I realized that he eithe...r hadn't read the intake brief that I sent to his office days ago or he doesn't want the case. I insisted to get to the bottom of it: did he at least *receive* my written brief or not? He refused to answer and commanded me to again, start with the page one of the story. The argument escalated. Within seconds, I terminated the call, telling Mr. Breeden that I'm concerned that our communications have already broken down and I have no confidence in working with him. That was a $70 well spent - I had no idea that layers can be that unprofessional, now I've experienced it.

Mr. Breeden was referred by a competent, retiring attorney for a minor collection account with anticipated future accounts. His presentation was tossed out by the judge which he was required to refile. He neither kept me apprised nor refiled the account. He should have advised this client that a $7...00 collection was below his ability and I would have thanked him for his honesty.
