also known as Neal Michael Mayer
Paul Coleman and I have been working together since 1973.
I have been married to Jane for 46 years; we have four grown and married children and eleven grandchildren.
I have and continue to be active at my undergraduate college, Kenyon, where I served on the Alumni Council (President 1993-94) and on the Board of Trustees (1995-2002). I remain Class Agent for my class. Kenyon has recognized my contributions to the college and to my profession with many awards including, most importantly and Honorary Doctor of Laws which was given to me in April, 2007.
Professionally I have been President of the Maritime Administrative Bar Association and was President of that association in 1978-79.
Peer review ratings have placed me as an AV-rated attorney in Martindale-Hubbell; in the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys; and as a "Best Lawyer" in Maritime Law.
