Professional and results-oriented service

We are pleased to recommend Ganey Law Group’s immigration legal services. We are two men – Anton, a U.S. national and Danny a Salvadoran citizen – that met in San Salvador, fell for each other, and got engaged a year ago. We decided to live together in the U.S. and explored the K-1 visa option for ...Danny to enter the U.S. Obtaining the visa would not have been possible without the help of George Ganey of Ganey Law Group. When we decided to apply for a K-1 Nonimmigrant Fiancé Visa, we started doing our research over the internet. Although the process seemed manageable, we opted to seek legal guidance “to be on the safe side” of navigating the U.S. immigration system. We outsourced to friends for recommendations for legal representation and a friend recommended Ganey Law Group. After explaining how we met and basics about our relationship, George indicated that our visa request process would be straightforward. We got to work immediately obtaining letters of support from friends and family and gathering required documentation from Salvadoran government agencies for Danny. We had expressed our desire to George to submit our application by the end of 2017. By mid-December, we had gathered the materials to submit the visa application and we celebrated this milestone by ringing in 2018 together in San Salvador. In mid-April, we received a Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS. The attorney’s response to the RFE was first-rate. He drafted an in-depth response that was carefully planned and executed. The response was thorough, well-organized, it included translations and substantiations of our case that went above and beyond USCIS’s original request. The petition was approved within a month after mailing the RFE response. Once again we started gathering documentation including the medical exam report that had to be submitted to the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador in preparation for Danny’s interview. Part of our contractual agreement with Ganey Law Group was a coaching session to prepare Danny for the interview. The preparation for the interview was extremely helpful. By the end of the interview, Danny felt confident that the visa was approved in large part due to his preparation. We are immensely grateful to George for his legal services in this process. George was sensitive to our concerns as a same sex couple. He addressed our questions without hesitation and he provided us with the reassurance that we needed throughout the process. Based on our experience, we enthusiastically endorse Ganey Law group’s immigration legal services.

A deserved recommendation

It was a pleasure appointing George as our immigration lawyer to process our application for the K-1 Visa . George is professional, knowledgeable, and very generous with his time. Throughout every step of the process my fiancé and I felt George was extremely accommodating and available to answer our ...questions. From the very first contact with him we knew we were safe and in excellent hands, and would thoroughly recommend others to engage George Ganey for their immigration law needs.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
