Douglas E. Fierberg developed the only nationwide practice and specialty of representing students, faculty and others killed or catastrophically injured in school-related incidents, often involving fraternity misconduct, hazing or mass violence. Founder and Co-Chair of “Schools: Violence, Misconduct, and Safety,” a litigation group of the American Association for Justice. Past President of the National Advisory Board of the National Crime Victim Bar Association. Lead counsel for the historic settlement between the victims, Virginia and Virginia Tech arising out of the Virginia Tech massacre. Counsel for faculty massacred at the University of Alabama Huntsville and victims of hazing and sexual assault at universities across the country. See Partner; Bode & Grenier, LLP.
