I found myself in a unique circumstance about a 15 months ago with regards to my status. I've been living in the country since I was 10 years old and had a permanent residency card that was issued and subsequently expired (never renewed) but since I came here at such a young age, I had no clue that... I needed to take action. Fast forward to last 2018 I found myself in a situation where I did not know what my true status was in the country.
