Biography
I am a communications lawyer and Managing Partner of Lerman Senter PLLC, where I have practiced since 1986. I represent media companies before the FCC and also have handled media transactions of all kinds, including the acquisition and sale of media properties, syndication agreements, talent agreements, sports rights agreements and a variety of other relationship documents. I also represent performers and media executives. I served as the outside General Counsel of CBS Radio Inc from 2000-2008, overseeing all legal issues for 140 radio stations in 30 markets. I also served as a Director on the Boards of Premiere Radio Networks Inc., Infinity Broadcasting Corporation and Westwood One, Inc, and I am on the Board of Black Heritage Network, Inc. I proudly serve as Chairman of the Board of Active Minds, Inc., a national nonprofit oprganization which provides mental health outreach services to college and high school students at over 420 college campuses and high schools. I also serve on the Dean's Advisory Board at George Washington University Law School. I also Chair a committee which created and administers the Newton South High School Scholarship Fund and Mentoring Program. My wife and I reside in Potomac Maryland and are the proud parents of four children and of one grandchild.
