Successful settlement of EEOC case

Mr. Kiyonaga was recommended by someone who worked in employment matters for many years in a federal agency and who worked with Mr. Kiyonaga in the past. Even though Mr. Kiyonaga was in Washington DC and I am in California, I engaged him for my case. That was an excellent decision, as he diligently... and doggedly pursued my claims through a huge federal bureaucracy for several long years, until we reached a final and reasonable settlement a short time ago. As another client noted in their review, Mr. Kiyonaga is wicked smart, and he ensured he understood every aspect of my case. While always respectful of the federal agency's attorneys, he pushed cleverly and hard to my advantage. I have recommended Mr. Kiyonaga to several colleagues with similar issues with this agency, and he currently is representing them in the same thoughtful and professional manner.

Federal Employee

I highly recommend Mr. Kiyonaga to anyone in need of an outstanding attorney. Mr. Kiyonaga did a remarkable job as my attorney as it relates to Federal employement and MSPB legal matters. Throughout my case Mr. Kiyonaga demonstrated that he was clearly invested and had my best interest in mind. Mr.... Kiyonaga provided routine timely updates, answered questions/concerns in a prompt manner which kept me well informed throughout my case. I was truly impressed with his legal strategy, application of creative resources and oral presentation abilities. Mr. Kiyonaga is a highly experienced and proven attorney that I would without a doubt recommend to anyone.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
