Mr. Bilton represented me in an insurance claim for a bicycle accident that occurred in May 2015. I was riding my bicycle on the W&OD trail on Back to Work Day to attend celebrations at the newly opened Wiehle metro station. I was crossing with another bicycler from east to west when a driver ran the... crosswalk on Wiehle Avenue on a red light despite numerous signs warning that the crosswalk should be kept clear. I suffered a concussion and two pelvic fractures. The driver stopped only to give me his name, phone number, and insurance agency because another driver left his car to help me. The driver then left the scene of the accident when the light turned green and would not respond to my calls. The insurance company (USAA) claimed that we were equally at fault because I was "speeding" and the driver ran the crosswalk. I consulted Mr. Bilton to represent me to USAA because USAA refused to contact me or compensate me in any way. Mr. Bilton was very attentive to the facts I presented and pursued USAA to obtain retribution for my injuries and damages. He obtained compensation that was fair and equitable and in a timely manner.
