I had a consultation with Mr. Castro in July 2021 on litigation for child custody, child visitation and divorce. During the consultation, Mr. Castro informed me that a $2000.00 (two thousand U.S. dollars) retainer is required and that upon receipt of the two thousand dollars, he would litigate for li...mited divorce, communicate in writing with my spouse attorney on divorce, separation agreement and file limited divorce case within two weeks. The payments totaling two-thousand dollars were made on: September 14, 2021 – paid $500.00 via payment application called cashapp to Mr. Tito V. A. Castro September 20, 2021 – paid $500.00 via payment application called cashapp to Mr. Tito V.A. Castro October 12, 2021 – paid $495.00 via payment application called cashapp to Mr. Tito V.A. Castro October 13, 2021 – paid $510.00 via payment application called cashapp to Mr. Tito V.A. Castro After the payments were made via cashapp to Mr. Castro, he was sent the separation agreement and the contact information for the attorney representing my spouse. I called him and he informed me that he was in communication with my spouse’s attorney and that he has not heard anything back from him. After two weeks, I asked him if he had received a response from the attorney and he informed me that he has not heard back from the attorney. I contacted my spouse and she informed me that her attorney had not heard from Mr. Castro. A month later, I asked Mr. Castro to forward me the e-mail that he sent to the opposing attorney. Mr. Castro informed me that he was not able to access his e-mail and that he would work with his company’s helpdesk to gain access to his e-mail. I waited for another month and in January 2022, I followed up with Mr. Castro and informed him that as professionals, it does not take three months to send me a copy of the e-mails he sent to my spouse attorney on separation agreement, and to file a limited divorce case with the court, therefore, I believe he took my two thousand dollars, did not do anything, and simply continued lying to me. I further informed him that since he had been lying to me for several months, I have no trust in his services and want my money back as I was able to hire another attorney who was able to correspond with my spouse’s lawyer and file limited divorce case within 48-hours of paying a retainer, something that he had not done for over four months. Mr. Castro admitted that he indeed had not done anything and would reimburse me the retainer. I asked that he reimburse me within 30-days. By February 2022, he still had not reimburse me the full amount and I followed up with him again. In March 2022, he reimbursed only $200.00 of the $2000.00. It is now July 28, 2022, and he still has not reimbursed the reminder of the $2000.00; approximately $1800.00 is still pending reimbursement.

PRO: He is affordable He will show up to your court hearings CON: He isn’t the type of lawyer who will hold your hand and reassure you everything will be ok. It took him week or more to return emails and calls. I had to keep checking in with him regarding case updates or status If you kn...ow you have a solid case and just need a lawyer in court with you, then he is good. If you need someone who will fight for you and make you feel cared for and not just another client , go with someone else. My outcome was positive but he could of been more passionate and attentive to my case.

He basically showed up to court just like i did. Might present to have a good personality but i am sure he practiced on me without no ir little previous experience he had handling traffic offenses. I also refered a friend who told me to fire him sonce he literally destroyed him by not doing anything ...as his lawyer. Do not hire this guy ! He might be flexable with his prices and thats because he takes cases way out of his expertise. I hired him because i was barely making any money to afford a good lawyer even when i worked two jobs.
