On July 3, 2012 i found myself at the mercy of the IG. Senior staff distanced themselves and I became a pariah. Justice department waived my case, but my Agency wanted a poster child -- totally ignoring years of excellent work and the fact that basic procedures had been followed (work place practice...s not violated). Mr Heilbrun got me face time on the Hill and in the Wall Street Journal and the written materials he has prepared for the MSPB are marvelous. He is a creative and dedicated defender of the innocent. I would HIGHLY recommend him if you are a fed and in a hostile work environment or being forced to retire early due to your Agencies desire to hire YOUNGER cheaper staff
