Claudine Eleanor Harrison

Attorney Claudine E. Harrison obtained her law degree from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Spelman College. She is a member of the D.C. Bar, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (A.I.L.A.), and the American Bar Association (A.B.A.)

As an immigrant herself, Ms. Harrison knows first-hand how difficult the immigration process can be. She is committed to helping immigrants, especially women who have suffered domestic violence, those who have made mistakes for which there are immigration consequences, and those fleeing persecution. To that end, Ms. Harrison has provided pro bono legal representation to low income immigrants through Catholic Charities, D.C. For the past three years, she has regularly volunteered with Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (C.A.I.R.) Coalition at the I.C.E. Detention Center in Virginia. While in law school, Ms. Harrison participated in the Law Students in Court program, representing low-income D.C. residents in Landlord-Tenant Court.
