Kyle A McGonigal

I am one of four boys from very close knit family.  I was raised in Maryland and attended Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, MD.  After graduating from Syracuse University, I attended the University of Baltimore Law School in Baltimore, MD where I concentrated on Criminal Law.

I became an attorney primarily to help people.  This core value was instilled in me at a young age by my parents who were Peace Corps volunteers.  I was raised to respect and care about people.  

I have now been practicing for more than 25 years.  The focus of my practice has been Criminal Trial and Appellate cases in the District of Columbia and Maryland. 

I have conducted countless jury and bench trials over the years involving felony and misdemeanor charges.  Such charges include, Simple Assault, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Gun and Drug Charges, Robbery, Burglary, Threats, Domestic Violence, Theft, Conspiracy and Traffic Related Charges, such as DUI, No Permit and Operating after Suspension.  I also handle cases involving sealing and expungement of criminal records.

I have also handled many criminal cases on appeal.  As Appellate Counsel, I have researched and drafted briefs and conducted oral arguments in the D.C. Court of Appeals.
