I attended one of PWW's free seminar's in Lewes years ago and felt so comfortable with their presentation where they shared great information without 'selling'. We hired Amber and her team to correct and update Moms estate/trust documents (a different firm prepared these docs and they weren't prepar...ed correctly). Amber took the time to explain herself to my aging Mom and me using her 'buckets' drawing which were very easy to understand. The entire PWW team are amazing! I enthusiastically recommend attorney, Amber Woodland. I do not usually write reviews, but am sharing my recent experience in hopes that others may benefit from the information. My estate plan documents needed updating, badly, but I procrastinated for a long time. The process seemed overwhelmin...g and time consuming. At the same time, life events served as regular reminders of the importance of legal documents being current, causing personal anxiety. I needed guidance—and the right attorney. Friends had recommended Procino-Wells & Woodland, LLC (PWW Law), a firm that specializes in elder law in Delaware (and Maryland). So, when PWW Law offered a brief course at a local adult education facility, I enrolled. I knew after the first session that I would be fortunate to be represented by Amber Woodland. Amber’s presentation was organized, clearly explained, and extremely relevant to participants. Sometimes the estate planning process can be overwhelming. Amber provides a warm, friendly environment, and encourages questions. She is a natural teacher and cares that everyone understand the estate planning process and legal ramifications. I never had the sense that Amber was teaching the course to advertise her firm—rather, Amber is just so passionate about people having legal plan to protect themselves, their estates, and their wishes. I contacted PWW Law, signed up for the initial consultation with a senior staff member, and received paperwork to prepare for the first meeting. The initial consultation clarified things like assets, titling, personal goals, and the PWW Law process and what to expect. At the end of the first meeting, I selected one of the firm’s attorneys. I would have been well served by any of the three exceptional attorneys, and was delighted to have Amber representing me. Amber is a confident, professional, and personable attorney. She is experienced and knowledgeable in elder law in Delaware. She is passionate about her mission of educating people about estate planning, and she takes a personal interest in helping clients and their families. From the time of our first meeting, Amber has been extremely prepared and organized. She has an obvious grasp of my estate and how assets should be titled and aligned, as well as a plan and documents for achieving my goals. In addition, Amber encourages informal, personal discussion to learn more about family members and wishes. Amber provided very creative estate recommendations for me, with a clear action plan for my goals. I’ve completed my estate planning process, received an incredible resource binder of personal trusts and other estate materials, and have a wonderful sense of accomplishment. How do I spell stress relief? A-M-B-E-R! Organization, communication, and personal attention are obvious traits of the staff at PWW Law. The process is so well thought out by the entire staff, designed to maximize time devoted to the client. My questions or concerns are handled promptly and competently. PWW Law has three clean, well-appointed offices with trained staff. The Lewes office at Five Points is especially convenient for me. The atmosphere is like a family…everyone cares. Did I mention the freshly-baked homemade cookies at every meeting? I am really looking forward to my annual review. :)
