He was very interested in taking my sons case..He requested $350 to visit my unjustly incarcerated son to discuss his case. Then he requested my son get him rule 16 evidence. THEN OUT OF THE BLUE he changed his mind and can no longer take his case. WTF. All of these a$$hole$ are in bed with each ...other. $350 FOR WHAT...? A F*CKING SCAM IF THERE EVER WAS ONE..CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST...

Lawyer met with me for initial consultation (free). Quoted a price. Performed perhaps 4 hours worth of work for the case; works out to be $625 an hour. Feel like I was overcharged, and in essence, was taken advantage of. When so few hours were going to be required for my case, a reasonable hourly... rate could have been charged with a retainer. The lawyer knew how much effort he was going to put into this matter, and even if he overestimated, he could have returned some money since it took a few phone calls and just a hearing. Not worth $625 an hour. Was the outcome what I wanted--yes. Could I have achieved this without a lawyer? Perhaps. Could I have achieved the same results with another attorney? Definitely since no litigation and no research was required. Some explanations, a few phone calls, and a hearing. Clearly demonstrates why people don't like lawyers. It's all about the money, and I feel I was overcharged.
