My brother and I hired Elle Van Dahlgren Law to help us with our mom's estate after her passing. Elle and her team made a very stressful and overwhelming time much easier to get through because of their professionalism, responsiveness and ability to help us navigate unchartered waters. They have be...en nothing but wonderful to work with. They are caring and compassionate, but also make sure things are getting done. I had the opportunity to hear a colleague speak. It was eye opening and thought provoking. Elle of Elle Van Dahlgren Law, LLC spoke at my breakfast meeting today about really tough subjects. She spoke about wills and trusts, about getting your final wishes put down on paper, about having someone to ...guide you through the difficult process and paperwork after a loved one has died. She talked about making sure your college age students are protected once they turn 18. Did you know that if you don't have a legal document on file making you their guardian, if something happens, once they are 18, the school/ hospital, doctor can't talk to you????? She talked about making sure your children's inheritance is supervised by who you want if you are divorced. She discussed all this and a few other estate / family planning topics that none of us like to think about. And when I left, I was ready to tackle some of these issues not be afraid of them. She is knowledgable, down to earth, truly cares about her clients and in all honesty she does it all with humor. I have had the opportunity to work along side her with mutual clients. Her clients love her. She eases their minds, helps make sense of issues that don't seem to make sense at all. She cares about her clients wishes and she works with them and within their budget.
