"Got our fee and forgot about the client attitude"is how I would describe this law firm. This firm dropped the ball completely on getting us payoffs for our mortgages. We instructed the lawyer to get 2 payoffs for 2 properties, they got us one payoff but failed to get the other and gave us a bunch ...of excuses why it wasn't their fault and this should come from Sertus - the service company handling the bankruptcy. After 30 days of waiting, we still don't have our payoff which is costing us at least $30 a day in interest along with a late fee. In all they have cost us an additional $1000 in expenses while we wait for our payoff. Every time we contacted the law firm, they gave us an excuse the lawyer was in court, I have never seen a lawyer spend so much time in court!! Furthermore, we never received a call from him to discuss why we had received what we requested. After contacting Sertus, we were told by Sertus that they hadn't received a payoff request for our 2nd property, but we were told by the lawyer's assistant that it was ordered. Sertus told us to ask the assistant 2 questions; when was the payoff ordered and what was the date. The lawyer's assistant couldn't answer these 2 questions. I would recommend using someone else, they are unresponsive, fail to communicate with their clients and are unwilling to get things done when they are needed.
