i own a dog grooming business and Ron was a client of mine. I had a loan with the bank and had paid off nearly all of the loan and only had $2500 to go when I recieved a letter stating my loan was sold and the bank that took it over was demanding $11,000 ( $1,000 more than the actual loan) and I prov...ided the letter and all necessary paperwork showing all I had already paid and he had the rest of the loan forgiven. Most recently I had hired someone to do a website for me and the person used copyrighted material on my website and I had recieved a cease and desist email and Ron was able to handle that matter!! I met Ron Fichera in 2007. He was providing legal counsel for a company that had hired me to do project work in China. The negotiations were not going as well as I had hoped. After a conference call Ron and I agreed to speak by phone later in the day. I was very frustrated with his employer. Whe...n we spoke I asked him directly, "can we agree that we will find a solution before we hang up?" His reply was, "yes we will" Three hours later we had worked everything out! I laugh because not only is he a master negotiator, but I felt good that he had listened so well regarding the cultural differences and how they would impact his client. We actually met face-to-face a few months later in China. As we proceeded that week I could tell he was different. So many lawyers become jaded, cynical and all about the money, but Ron is authentic to the core. As our business came to a close that week in China I asked him if I could hire him to represent me on another matter. That "other matter" turned into a journey that has lasted almost 10 years now. He is a good listener, because he hears what is "not spoken" out loud. That requires a very special skill set. Everything is done exactly when he says it will be done, in a most professional manner with a code of ethics that I have seen rarely in my 30+ year professional career. He has represented me personally and professionally with various issues through the years. He's human, he's authentic, he's very smart about International Law. I prefer direct and to the point conversation and to date, he's never sugar-coated anything. I wholeheartedly recommend Ron Fichera to perform legal work.
