Lisa Ann Kane

Lisa was my lawyer for PFA and Child Support. We had payment agreement, but she kept asking me more and more money right before the hearing. I had no choice to pay her again and again in order to let her go to the hearing. she made my simply PFA case against my ex too complicated. It would only be d...one in one hearing because my ex didn't show up on the first hearing and second hearing. However, Lisa made some excuses for my ex. She was not even on my side. Finally it took more than 7 hearings. And took more than one year to settle by the judge. She did nothing for me on the court. Lucky, I had a good judge to teach her what to do. She made around $5000 from this case. The court ordered my ex to pay all my legal fee. My ex paid her. She should refund my payment to her, but she refused. When I asked her for refund, she got very mad and yelled at me. She told me to find another lawyer for my child support hearing 5 days before the hearing. She was very unprofessional. Since I hired her, she had never answered my phone. She replied my email after many days. I do not recommend her.

If you want your ex to get custody, then by all means hire Lisa. In 4 months, and several court appearances, Lisa did not accomplish a single thing in my custody case. With one court date with a new attorney- viola! we made progress. Lisa was VERY rude and condescending. The way she spoke to me ...and my fiance was appalling. Lisa never followed through with the orders of the court, my ex was not held responsible for not complying. When I would call Lisa, I did not receive a response. I would have to harass the poor receptionist and email constantly to get her attention. Which of course she charged me for. Nickle and Dimed. 8 dates before court, which had been scheduled for 3 months, I received notice that Lisa would not appear unless I paid her more money. 8 DAYS?! Completely unprofessional. I do not recommend Attorney Lisa Kane Brown.
