Elias A. Kohn

Elias A. Kohn is the founding attorney of Kimberton Law, a Pennsylvania litigation and counseling firm with offices in West Chester and Philadelphia. The firm represents businesses, healthcare professionals, nonprofits, and individuals throughout Chester County, Philadelphia, and the surrounding region, with a practice centered commercial litigation, personal injury, and business and transactional counsel. Elias maintains a particular interest in Chester County's land-based industries, including farms, food producers, nurseries, conservation organizations and other mission-driven enterprises.

Elias was selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2024, 2025, and 2026, a recognition limited to no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state who are 40 or younger or have practiced ten years or less. He is a board member of the Phoenixville COmmunityu Health Foundation and the Scattergood Foundation. The East Pikeland Board of Supervisors also appointed Elias serve on its Open Space Committee.

Before founding Kimberton Law, Elias served as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia, where he tried criminal cases and developed courtroom experience. He later represented businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and transactions, from business disputes to high-value commercial matters. His current practice combines that litigation background with practical counsel for entrepreneurs, dentists, and other closely held businesses.

Elias earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as an undergraduate at the University of Southern California. In law school, he held fellowships, earned recognition for oral advocacy and pro bono service, and published legal scholarship that has been cited by researchers and media outlets.
