Brian Scott Dietrich

Brian Scott Dietrich joined Saxton & Stump from his prior firm where he was the owner and managing shareholder of the Dietrich Law Firm and has been in private practice for the last 34 years. He is a member of the Saxton & Stump Senior Care, Healthcare Litigation, and Commercial Litigation groups.

Brian is an experienced litigator with more than 34 years in healthcare and elder law litigation throughout the Pennsylvania civil courts and the Orphan’s Court Divisions. He focuses his practice on the representation of assisted living facilities, hospital facilities, and long-term care nursing facilities. In addition, he represents medical practices in matters of benefits disputes, contracts, employment, Medicaid, insurance, and litigation defense.

Brian serves as an arbitration chairperson appointed in the Delaware County and Montgomery County courts, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Hearings & Appeals, and has successfully litigated arbitration matters before the American Arbitration Association. Dietrich also serves as a court-appointed legal counsel in matters involving incapacity and Medicaid benefit issues.

He earned his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. While attending law school, Dietrich participated in the Cambridge University law program in Cambridge, England. Dietrich is a private pilot with extensive aviation experience and an experienced open-water scuba diver.
