We were seeking legal counsel, in order to help us explore a path for me to becoming a citizen of the United States of America. We talked to several attorneys and met just two. Both on the phone and in person during our introductory meeting, my husband and l were struck by Audrey Allen’s up to date knowledge of immigration law and her easy going manner. During the first meeting she outlined the steps to obtain the permanent resident status. Audrey and her whole team in her office were wonderful. She was sensitive to our concerns and responded to all our queries in understandable terms. I liked her dynamic personality, her kindness, her clear communications, and her legal abilities. Always immaculately dressed and groomed she projected an air of professionalism both in our meetings at her office as well as in the meeting interview with USCIS. From the beginning Audrey outlined the sequence of events, undertook preparing and submitting the actual hundred plus page application. At this point, I have successfully completed the first step, and I received my green card a mere few months following the application. I had been working on my case for a couple of years with a different attorney that had little to no communication with me, he would take weeks at a time to reply to my emails/phone calls, loose correspondence and really not be on top of my case as I needed him to be. When I first talked to Audrey ...during our initial meeting, I made it very clear that I was looking to hire an attorney that was going to take ownership of my case and be on top of it, and most importantly, I was looking for an attorney which whom I would be able to maintain a professional and honest communication regarding my case.
