Lauren A. Wimmer, Philadelphia criminal defense attorney, is a former Judicial Clerk in
the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Trial Division - Homicide. Years of
experience working in the legal system have allowed her to understand the tactics
police and prosecutors use and how to take their cases apart. Ms. Wimmer is a
relentless advocate for every client of Wimmer Criminal Defense and has a record of
success defending against all levels of criminal charges.
Ms. Wimmer is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is an
active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers, and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.
Ms. Wimmer is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. She was the
Managing Articles Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy, as well as the
2014 recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, presented to the
student who, through academic achievement, motivation, tenacity, and drive, shows
promise to contribute to the advancement of women in the legal community and in
society.
