He forgot my paperwork, hung up on me and my Ex when we called about it, and called me CRUEL for asking for what I paid for!

I went to him with a simple matter and it seems he forgot to file my paperwork for quite some time. I kept an even temper with him because I just wanted the job done. He cashed my check immediately but forgot about my case, once I realized this I would call him bi-weekly as a reminder. I needed or...iginal documents of divorce and he sent me 2 photo copies. Not legit for changing state paperwork. I called him 3 months later after I first asked for an original, again with an even temper. He told me he probably had the papers around the office but would have to look. I asked If I could stop by and get them in an hour, he said he wouldn't be in the office because he had to go to court. I understand that, so I said can I get them from your secretary? He continued with wish washy answers. I reminded him that the paperwork was over due and I needed it today, and I didn't understand why it was such a problem. He proceeded to tell me that I was "cruel for keeping him on the phone" because someone was on the other line and he had to be in court on time then HE HUNG UP ON ME. I was pretty upset. It was a no fault divorce, no property or money needed to be divided. It is the easiest divorce possible, and I couldn't believe that after his mistakes and all my patience that he would attempt to BELITTLE me like that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I hope he has a better attitude with other clients. Oh, also, my Ex called him when our paperwork was late, he hung up on him as well. Thank god this is over with, and I can move on with unnecessary hostility. I notified his secretary of his behavior, She got me the paperwork I needed with no attitude, only kindness. Thanks to her !

I never forgot her paper work. Every single document asked for I gave her. I did not give wishy-washy answers. I did not have trouble locating her file. I am the person who retrieved her paper work, not my secretary. I just walked from my desk to where the files are. It is twenty two feet. It was not a problem providing any documents.. I cashed her check as she states. I also represented her in her divorce and paid her court fees. Additionally, with regard to phone calls I make it a point of speaking to every client who calls and addressing every concern. She does not state that her mother emailed me stating that I did not answer the telephone. I responded to her mother that this was not true. I always speak to clients. I do not have clients who can not reach me. She never had a problem reaching me. She never had to call me on a bi-weekly basis to remind me of anything. I was never, ever hostile. I have been in practice for almost twenty four years. I always treat my clients with respect. I appreciate them. I am the person who got the paperwork and left it for my secretary. I have hundreds of clients who can attest that I am courteous and professional.
