Donald Bermudez

I strongly advise against hiring this attorney. I wish I had taken the time to read his reviews before working with him. My wife and I retained his services for an ejectment case, which dragged on for months with poor communication throughout. I even flew to Pennsylvania to attend the court hearin...g, where we were ultimately awarded the ejectment. I then paid an additional $600 for the sheriff’s assistance to regain access to my property. Unfortunately, after receiving that payment, Donald Bermudez stopped responding entirely and failed to complete the service I paid for. I have since filed a formal complaint with the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Donald fumbled his words in court repeatedly, jumped up and down in court like a child in front of court personnel. Missed appointments for meetings to talk about case, did not call. Obligated to finish a case for $500, switched firms and charged $2000. and stated it was because the new firm. Complet...ely illegal as he was obligated to finish regardless of firm, firm switch had nothing to do with my husband. I have all proof in email from Donald. Also tried to charge over $500. for transcripts which he received for free, Specific Public Defender said to file charges at 1701 Market st. and use their name to confirm the transcripts were sent to him for free. If my husband and I had more time we would file charges and pray he loses his license to practice. I do not recommend Donald at all, completely clueless, childish and charges fees illegally. I’m thankful for the public defender for cleaning up his mess as he didn’t even show at last court hearing, but texted he was outside smoking a cigarette if he was needed. My husband still has 2 years to file charges and I hope he does.

Mr. Bermudez was easily the best attorney I have ever had the pleasure to retain. He facilitated a situation for me to complete a program to expedite the process for a drug possession charge. He explained everything very clearly to me and was extremely friendly. After a quick completion of the terms ...of my program, he then assisted me in filing a petition for expungement. Mr. Bermudez has stayed in constant contact with me and always gets right back to me if not immediately available to take my call. I recommend him to anyone in the Philadelphia area and will surely retain his services again in the future.

Sad to say this but I've delt with many private attorneys in my life, and Donald is absolutely the best. He reviewed my case in depth, and had answers to all my questions in a timely manner. Not to mention his outstanding court presence. Donald conducts himself him a professional manner, and fights f...or his clients.
