How to know who to trust?

He represented me in my first federal drug case. In which we ultimately took a plea. Being a career Outlaw, I have dealt with many lawyers and had become jaded.I met Mike in 2004, when I was on the run from the Feds having escaped custody in a Tennessee Hospital and fled to Philadelphia. I had come t...o him after placing a $10,000 retainer in addition to paying $40,000 to JACK MCMAHON. HE ROBBED ME FOR THE MONEY USING THE SYSTEM AGAINST ME .this lawyer suggested my only way out of my situation was to snitch on my partners, in fact without consulting me he wrote an agreement in which I would sign a 5K 1.1 motion. I am no snitch and I'm not down with snitching in any way. Mr. Farrell respected my convictions and proceeded to navigate the territory of representing me when I would finally be caught. A couple of years later I was apprehended I caught another case in California. Mr. Farrell work closely with an attorney here in California which he found for me in order to minimize my exposure and ultimately keep my federal guidelines as low as possible. in this regard he is a very knowledgeable and calculated individual. . Ultimately the feds wanted me to snitch and produce a plea in which I would tell- mr. Farrell told them out right that I was not going to play their game and that I would serve my time. In the end I took a Yankee lawyer to the dirty south and Mr. Farrell was still able to convince the judge to give me the low-end of the guidelines. Throughout the entire process I think especially because I did not trust lawyers Mr. Farrell kept me informed of his actions every step of the way including sitting in with me when I filled out my Presentence investigation report- this is the paper jacket that follows you the entire way through prison and what the judge ultimately looks at to get an idea of who and individual is. Mr. Farrell help me construct an honest but calculated image of who I was which benefited me throughout my prison experience. In the end I will send it to five years, and throughout that time for a modest fee Mr. Farrell kept up with my personal business in the outside world including paying property taxes and making sure my other assets were secured. You personally communicated with my Family. Mr. Farrell checked up on me several times including and unprompted visit while I was held over in Brooklyn MDC. Considering my case was fairly simple Mr. Farrell charged a reasonable fee for an extensive amount of work and research and continually gave me advice on how to proceed with my dealings and my personal life. Currently, I am on federal supervised release and have found myself in trouble again. I turn to Mr. Farrell because of the relationship I had with him and the care I felt he took with my previous case. He communicates well with my probation officer and my other team of lawyers in California. My first piece of advice is don't get caught, second if you are in the drug game get out because the cards are stacked against you and the Feds have turned everyone into snitches. But finally, if you have found yourself in trouble I recommend using Mr. Farrell because of the care he takes with each individual case and the fact that he deals with each client as a person and not a Dollar sign. There may be a better lawyers out there I don't know because it's hard to trust any of them I recommend Mr. Farrell because in almost a decade of a relationship he has earned my trust and respect. -MS

I thought I was on the set of Law & Order

I thought I was on the set of Law & Order when Mike Farrell delivered His closing arguments for my defense in my criminal trial. As a soldier and a patriotic American his speech moved me so much that I felt like I needed to stand and salute the American Flag. Mike Represented me in a very serious fel...ony assault trial where Local Police (in an anonymous jurisdiction in Berks County, Pa.) had stacked charges against me in the unjust manner that Police tend to do. I have friends who are Police Officers and I don't want to condemn all Law Enforcement, but there are some Police who are out of their minds with their power and tend to abuse it often. Stacking 5 serious charges that a jury took 15 minutes to deliberate on and come back with a NOT GUILTY on all 5 charges just proves that cops abuse their power even when it is plain to see that the so called "victim" was looking for any oppurtunity to sue someone because he was a dirtbag who didn't work and wanted to get set up for life. The alledged "Victim" was a drunk and a drug addict that brought his own injuries on to himself and wanted to blame them on someone else. Well...I am glad I hired Mike Farrell who should have charged alot more for his services (not that I had any more disposable cash to lay down) but Mike really worked his ass off for me and for a VERY Reasonable price. The cost for me if I had not hired Mike would have been astronomical as I had custody of my kids and a home and a Business property and business to lose. Mike Represented me in both the Criminal matter (which ended in an acquittal) and my Civil matter involving the same case. By the way the alledged "Victim's" Civil (ambulance chasing)attorney was a former Prosecuter that Mike defeated in a previous court case and the only experience he had with that unnamed attorney. God track record Mike !!!!!!! You are 2 for 0 with just that Sheister alone! I don't want to lump all lawyers in a category either but lawyers are hard to trust. Where do their loyalties lie???? With Mike Farrell his loyalties lie with his client. Honest, Straight Forward, No Bullshit! An Amazing Attorney. Hire him and watch him in amazement as he works! Thanks Mike!

Tremendous work ethic

When Mike Farrell was recommended to me as an attorney, I had heard dramatic tales of his courtroom forays, but i honestly never got to see that. My case never got past the preliminary hearing; it was eventually settled out of court with an ARD. It was my first run-in with the law so I was scared sil...ly and considering that i was charged with 3 FELONIES and 1MISD., i think that outcome was more than desired. Given the particular nature of the case and the way it unfolded, I dont think Mr. Farrell had to do anything extra-ordinary, at least that any other attorney couldn't do. Now regardless of whether that is false or not, why i would recommend Mike Farrell is that he works hard. Heh... My case dragged out for about 6 -7 months, endless prelim hearings that were continued; Mr. Farrell was prompt to every one of them (9am-ish- and he doesn't live in the city), always seemed to be in the building (courthouse) and even had the courtesy to blow up my phone when my ignorant ass misread the court date once and ended up with a bench warrant. I used to go to his office every now and then, after 4,5 was when you could catch him, after the court proceedings were done, his secretaries would be on the way out, Mike Farrell would be in his office with business as usual. Time after time when I visited the office i would leave 6,7pm with the light in that back office still on, him still at his desk yapping on the phone and writing memos. Occasionally an odd hour before dark and even though the office door was locked, that light was still on. I dont think he forgets to turn his light off. I'm not sure I have met anyone yet who seems as consumed by their work as this man. That is reason enough for me to recommend him. I used to think lawyers are a necessary evil I have some new-found respect for the trade; because of him.
