Thomas Martin

Tom Martin is a civil litigator who represents individuals in catastrophic personal injury, consumer and employment related litigation, complex litigation, class actions, insurance coverage and bad faith, product liability, and appellate advocacy. As a solo practitioner for more than 18 years, Tom has secured several multimillion dollar verdicts, including an $8 million settlement for the family of an infant who died as the result of a defectively designed and unsafe baby sling.

He has been named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since 2014. As a lifelong resident of Philadelphia, Tom is an active participant in community affairs. He serves as counsel to the 38th Ward of the Philadelphia Democratic Party, as a member of the East Falls Community Council, and as a long-term board member and coach for the East Falls Sports Association.

Tom received his law degree with honors from Villanova University School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Villanova Law Review. He is licensed to practice in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals  for the Third Circuit, and as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
