Rand Spear

I wasn’t going to write a review on this so called law firm, but I think I owe the people of Philadelphia and New Jersey a public service announcement. These people are the worse. First let me start with this. My case was clear cut, I was out for a morning run when I was hit by a car who’s driver ran... a stop sign. Let me add that I was in a school zone on a crosswalk when I was hit! This should have been a layup! Anyway, after my accident (now over a year ago) the insurance company made me what I considered to be a “low-ball” offer, so I decided to enlist the help of attorney Rand Spear. Things started out bad from the beginning. The paralegal assigned to my case was almost completely unresponsive. I would send all the accident related paperwork that I received to the email address she gave me, only to have her lose or ignore it. It got so bad that a couple of the medical bill that I sent in never got paid and were sent to collection agencies! So on top of an unresponsive legal team, I had collection agencies calling me weekly demanding that I pay these medical bills. When finally got in touch with Rand Spears office to ask them resolve these issues, I was asked by attorney Mike Spear if I was able to just pay the collection agencies and they would return my money at a later date. I told him that I was not going to pay these people and suggested that maybe his firm do their job. Here is the deal, because I was fortunate enough to not be seriously injured, they didn’t fight for me at all. Sure, I had cuts bruises and a torn rotator cuff but, I did have any broken bones or life altering injuries so they knew there was no money in my case for them so they gave it no effort. I was so disgusted with these people that I just signed the release just to get this over with. I’ll end with this. As I said earlier, it’s been over a year since I enlisted their help, and I received notification from the insurance company that they issued a settlement check to Rand Spear and closed my case over three months ago, but I’ve receive no word from Rand Spear, so as far as I know, they successfully took the insurance companies “low-ball” offer and reduced it to zero! In their ads tell you “don’t get screwed by a lousy lawyer”. I kind of feel like that’s exactly what happened to me.

I have never experience so much confusion dealing with this office, due to the Covid 19 I could not work and could not pay my Auto Insurance until my Stimulus arrived. I went to put flowers on my Mothers grave on Mothers Day and was rear ended by a 18 wheeler Tractor Trailer at a red light. I then co...ntacted this Law Firm to represent me and boy what a mistake, I was told just get better we will take care of everything, then shortly after I was told to go get pictures of my totaled car, mind you I had two broken wrist and other injuries.I asked if they had someone that did that in their office and I was told no. Red flag went up then but I said well I give them another chance and things kept getting worst, I was told by the paralegal that he was having trouble contacting the trucking company that rear ended me and this went on for 2 months , then I received a summons from the court that the tow yard wanted payment . I told the paralegal and he stated send him the summons and he would take care of it. Well that never happened , then 3 weeks later Mr.Spears called me at 9 pm one night and asked where my car was, the trucking company wanted to see the black box. Wouldn't you have thought he would have gone to his paralegal for that information instead of calling me at 9 pm. come to find out I was told I was responsible for the storage charges . The next day the paralegal called me and said he forgot to tell me he got swamped with other things . Needless to say that was the last straw I have a new attorney and he was able to contact the Trucking Company Attorney within 15 minutes after taking my case and got my storage problem solved. I would never recommend this Firm to my worst enemy , please run don't walk from this Firm

I hired Rand spear back in 2016 I was in an accident rear-ended I want to therapy and everything well going to therapy I would hear from them they would write me letters or call me after my case settled I didn't hear nothing from that had to keep calling them they would keep lying to me transform me ...to this person that person telling me that prison that was handle my case don't work for me anymore my case have been settled for 10 months I still have not received my settlement money and now they will not call me back

I hired Rand spear after an accident on Roosevelt Boulevard in which I was rear-ended the owner of the other vehicle along with the insurance company of the other driver took full responsibility. Upon getting the responsibility from the other driver's insurance I have yet to hear from the paralegal w...ho's allegedly handling my case whomever they may be I was told one person but that person no longer works there but I was never contacted by anyone else to let me know that my caseload had been moved to another attorney nor has Rand spear I'm self contacted me in this matter which I found very unprofessional since it is your business I have yet to hear anything about settlement and or any further documentation from lawyers and or medical staff pertaining my case I would never recommend Rand spear to anyone for any reason due to the poor professionalism, communication and representation. Hopefully no one else waste their time going to Rand spear or his Law Firm...Seek other legal advice somewhere else take heed

I'm writing this review because the service I received from rand Spear's office was less than satisfactory. I never felt like a client, more like a nuisance. No one ever had any information regarding my case or just choose not to disclose it . Never once actually spoken to an attorney during the long... drawn out process. They just gave me the run around up until the second I had to go down in person and beg for them to release my settlement check.
