Matthew H. H. Young

I was introduced to Matt by one of my friends from Harvard who had attended undergraduate with him. He assured me that if I was hoping to file a medical malpractice suit, then Matt would be my guy. Since this particular friend is a genius in his own field (and in his own right), I trusted him implici...tly. Matt has been, by far, one of the most (definitely top five) professional, insightful, organized, intelligent, knowledgeable, thorough, and brilliant attorneys I've ever had the pleasure to work with. First, he spoke with me several times (for sometimes hours at a time) to talk about what had happened and to help educate me on how his line of work happens. Then, he helped me understand if we had a case or not by going through the autopsy report with me and with the autopsy doctor, which was super illuminating. Lastly, he did tons of ancillary research on the best types of attorneys in our jurisdiction to work alongside with and then gave his opinion on them. He was always available by phone (or text), and he never once shirked speaking to me or any responsibility he had taken ownership over. He will, in my opinion, be one of the best lawyers in the West Chester area within the next 5-10 years for his line of work. Thank you so much for your help, Matt!

I wanted to write this very positive review of Matt Young. He is a 5-star attorney in every way. First, Mr Young is exceedingly bright and analytical. I want to delineate his skills as follows : Intellect : He was able to dissect and process the information regarding my case very quickly and i...n a meaningful way unlike almost any other attorney I approached with a med mal potential claim. I suspect he would be considered a genius by most testing. Communication : Mr. Young is one of most effective communicators in terms of clarity and his deft speed in responding to questions and concerns Counsel : Not only did Mr Young offer his own suggestions and recommendations, but he also had specific names of specific firms and attorneys he has personal experience with who handle issues in other states for clients whose case is not PA. Methods: Mr Young had a wealth of information as to how to approach my case, what information was needed, what as helpful and what was absolutely required to be ultimately successful . Compassion: Without a doubt, Mr Young was one of the most compassionate and concerned of attorneys I have met in most any field, and I have no doubt he will continue to have an extremely loyal following and grow a very specific and wide reputation for brilliance and kindness, a combination that is almost unheard of in law, in my humble opinion. Credentials: Mr Young possesses not only the JD, but also an MD degree and completed a residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and as a well trained physician, is able to most certainly understand cases that frankly non MD attorneys are either not able to fully understand, or if they are able to, not able to provide a service as carefully and thoroughly with as much insight as he can because he has this depth of understanding from an enormous medical education, that is very different from a med mal attorney whose training is based on law and does not possess the MD degree. It is THAT important . I dealt with attorneys that had other science backgrounds from an RN to those who majored in science before law school, and again, they were not able to process information fully or provide meaningful service in a comparable way. I recommend Mr Young without reservation and I give him 5 stars for a reason- he is just that- a 5 star attorney and human being . One of his own family members was injured from a med malpractice incident, and that too, having personal experience at the level of family, differentiates him in terms of truly understanding what is on the line for clients who have been permanently injured. You simply cannot find anyone better, in my opinion.
