MARY E. LEMIEUX-FILLERY is the head of the Long-Term disability department at Martin Law and focuses her practice entirely on disability insurance law (ERISA) litigation. She is an experienced litigation attorney who dedicates her practice to representing individuals in pursuit of their short and long term disability benefits. She has successfully litigated cases in both state and federal court against every major national disability insurance carrier. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. LeMieux-Fillery worked at an Employment and Disability firm where she created and managed the Long-Term Disability and Veterans’ benefits section. In 2012, she became a certified specialist in Veterans’ Benefits.
Ms. LeMieux-Fillery graduated from the University of Connecticut with her undergraduate degree in International Environmental Law. She received her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, she was certified by the Denver District Attorney’s Office as a student prosecutor and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Jury Selection in recognition of her trial advocacy skills. She currently volunteers as a staff attorney at Face to Face in Germantown.
