Martina Jo Walsh

With more than 30 years as an attorney, Martina Walsh McLaughlin has an illustrious career representing clients in a wide variety of major civil cases, particularly medical malpractice and products liability. In fact, she received the highest possible rating in legal ability and ethics from Martindale-Hubbell. And because she’s responsible for several client settlements and jury verdicts of seven and eight figures, she’s a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Ms. McLaughlin is well known for representing clients with claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). Working on behalf of workers seeking pension benefits under a special early retirement package, Ms. McLaughlin organized several class-action lawsuits that garnered national attention from the media and the legal community. Also, noteworthy is her representation of a child who was abused while in foster care.

A prominent lecturer for both the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Ms. McLaughlin has made presentations on the law of damages, evidence in dram shop cases, taking depositions and other topics. She is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers and the Philadelphia Bar Association. She was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association from 1986 through 1991.
