Biography
Judy is a partner at Astor Weiss Kaplan & Mandel LLP where she practices family law exclusively (divorce, custody, child support, international child abduction (Hague) cases, and prenuptial agreements). Judy is an active member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and their Family Law Sections. She has served on council for the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has served as the co-editor of the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer since 2019. Judy serves as the Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Family Law Section. Judy is an active member of the Cipriani Inn of Court. Judy has been named to the Super Lawyers list for family law since 2019 and to the “Best Lawyers in America” list by Best Lawyers for family law since 2018. In 2018, Judy received the Distinguished Advocate for Children Award in 2018 and was recognized in 2020 by the Pennsylvania Bar Association for her dedication as a co-editor of The Family Lawyer. In 2016, Judy received the Pro Bono Publico Award for the Court of Common Pleas – Trial Division – Dependency. Judy performs pro bono legal services as a child advocate through the Support Center for Child Advocates.
