Before even meeting Josh Ferguson I knew that he was an exceptional and genuine person. I am the Executive Director of the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) and asked Josh if he would do a presentation for our association members on the topic of "slip and fall lawsuits” and how to... protect yourself and your business from being sued. Just to clarify, we are a non-profit professional landscape contractors association whose members provide snow and ice management services (snow plowing) to commercial, residential and municipal properties. Our goal is to educate and protect our members, as well as provide for the health, safety and welfare of the general public. We depend on people like Josh to help our members understand the legal ramifications of the contracts that we sign and to make sure that both the consumer and the contractor are properly protected. WIthout hesitation Josh offered to provide his services at no cost to us and even drove 90 minutes (each way) for his presentation. I cannot begin to tell you how professional and informative his lecture was, nor can I properly express the gratitude from our members who are now better informed and protected due to Josh’s presentation. He spoke to us in plain english and answered any and all questions that our members had for him, staying later than he anticipated. Truthfully, I am very honored that he asked me to review him and am quite happy that I could repay his generosity to us.
