Biography
Jon Hillsberg brings almost 40 years of experience to the practice of real estate law. He has served a wide range of clients in both lender and borrower representation in permanent and construction financing, new market tax credit financing, securitized loans, negotiation of construction contracts, workouts, sale and leaseback transactions, acquisition and sales, industrial park development, condominium development and conversions, industrial development bonds, and office, industrial and shopping center leasing.
His recent experience has been in Lender financing of major shopping malls; REIT acquisition of numerous shopping centers; negotiation of multi-screen movie theatre construction and leases; sale leaseback of a communications facility; new market tax credit financing for supermarkets; loan workouts for hotel portfolios and high end restaurant leases.
Mr. Hillsberg represents veterans on a pro bono basis through America Responds With Love, an organization that provides housing and other benefits and assistance to disabled veterans.
