James Richard Ronca

Mr. Ronca is a civil trial attorney with more than 30 years of experience. He was named one of the Top 10 Pennsylvania Lawyers by Super Lawyers in 2012.

Jim was awarded the Musmanno Award by the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association in 1998 for achievements in his career as an outstanding litigator, fearless leader, and dedicated defender of the rights of the innocent and injured. He also received the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association Annual award in 1984.

Jim Ronca earned his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University. He is a former President of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and former Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Civil Litigation Section. Jim served six years on the Board of Governors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and co-chaired its Baycol Litigation Group in 2002 and 2003. He also co-authored the most widely used reference book on automobile personal injury insurance law.

Jim's practices includes major car and truck collision cases, medical Injury cases, pharmaceutical and medical device cases and construction site injury litigation. He has presented more than 250 individual legal seminars for various state and national bar and trial lawyer associations. Jim has also served on the steering committee for a statewide medical device litigation and as co chair of a litigation group on prescription drug litigation.
