Does not keep his word

Mrion works for Archer and Greiner and is an associate of Louis N. Marks. His council for my case should have determined that I needed certain records. Yet instead of giving me proper advise and saved me over $100,000 of his legal fees, Mr. Marion advised me to hire his firm in order to charge me to ...no end. His association with Louis N. Marks should rase questions since a federal bankruptcy judge has ordered a prestigious Philadelphia law firm to repay more than $368,000 in fees to a former client because of the ''despicable" and "inappropriate behavior" of an ex-partner in the firm. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge David A. Scholl also said he would ask the Disciplinary Board of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to review the conduct of Dechert, Price & Rhoads and its former partner, Louis N. Marks, in their representation of a financially troubled communications company

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
