A Martin Herring

A. Martin Herring focuses his practice in Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Labor Relations Dispute Resolution.

For the past forty four years, Martin, while engaged in the private practice of law, was the retained attorney for the Pennsylvania State Education Association in eastern Pennsylvania. In that capacity he was the advocate and champion for the maintenance and improvement of the public education system in Pennsylvania. During that period of time he, advocated and litigated hundreds of cases at labor arbitrations, as well as matters before the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board. In addition he litigated and argued complex labor and education cases, before both state and federal trial courts. He argued appellate issues in the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Commonwealth and Superior Courts of Pennsylvania.

Martin will continue to engage in dispute resolution in the field of labor relations. He enjoys an outstanding reputation as a seasoned, experienced mediator and arbitrator. He is a member of the labor panel of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Mediation and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. A well respected labor arbitrator recently stated this about Martin:
