It varies on what the charge is but in Norristown Judges usually hold pending the open case unless his lawyer intervenes

Very serious charges depends on amount. May be federal charges. Otherwise, it is a felony 2 or 3 in Pa with chance for Megan's law registry as well

Terroristic threats are a fact specific pattern not enough is known here but transient anger is a defense
