Most likely not however the warrant is in the system and if you get stopped by any law enforcement officer they will take you in.

Sounds like a good trial and he probably has a chance but at preliminary hearings the standard is much lower and that should be enough to proceed...

One of the Judges will have to agree simple just have your lawyer make sure the Judge agrees.
