Does a lawyer have to attend motions court to get a detainer lifted or just file a motion?

Normally the lawyer would file the motion and then show up in court to argue why the detainer should be lifted.

Yes you can get charged as a juvenile possibly adjudicated delinquent and then possibly committed to a juvenile facility.
