Sarah Lessie Hopkins

Sarah Hopkins wears two hats at Horn Williamson.  Sarah is Co-Chair of the Horn Williamson Construction Defect Team and she handles employment matters for our commercial clients.  As a leader on our Construction Defect team, Sarah manages several large homeowner groups and supervises junior team members.  Sarah understands the construction defect litigation process from fact analysis and legal strategy to client counseling to settlement, trial or arbitration.  Sarah’s second area of practice centers on employment and commercial litigation matters, litigating breach of contract, unfair competition and trade secrets disputes, as well as restrictive covenant matters. Sarah drafts employee handbooks and advises clients on their content and use in the workplace. Frequently called upon to assist with expedited on-boarding or sudden termination of employees, Sarah works closely with senior management and legal and human resources departments.
