Calling my landlord a landlord is an undeserved compliment; they were a slumlord. They gave me the wrong keys prior to move-in, so I couldn't open my front door. My heat didn't work, so I slept in 50-degree weather while I waited (in vain) for the slumlord to do something about it. One day I came hom...e and I had an infestation of huge black flies, feasting on something dead in the area above my drop ceiling. The slumlord ignored all of these and a dozen other issues. They fought me when I pressed them for expected completion dates. It was a nightmare. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in my own home. Along comes Jeffrey. The legal fight got uglier and uglier, but in the end, it was a success. I was able to break my lease without paying the remaining 6 months of rent. Jeffrey Katz is worth every penny and more. You cannot put a price on the ability to finally sleep peacefully in a safer, comfier home after the war we went through together. The entire time he was so kind, so genuine, and so good at his job that I don't know why anyone would seek out any other lawyer in Philadelphia. In summary: Jeffrey is the best.
