Iljaz Shehu

Mr. Shehu spent his formative years in Albania before moving to the United States in 2000 to pursue the American Dream. Upon arriving, he worked in the hospitality industry in order to support himself while attending the University of Missouri St. Louis. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.

Mr. Shehu obtained his Juris Doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2015. While in law school, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team which competed and placed in the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition. He was also the recipient of two prestigious CALI awards for earning the highest grade in two separate courses and while pursuing his law degree.

Mr. Shehu spent time as an intern advocating on behalf of indigent defendants for the Williamson County Public Defender’s office before relocating to Philadelphia. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Missouri. He focuses his practice on motor vehicle accident injuries, slip/trip and fall injuries and general negligence claims. He is fluent in English, Albanian and Italian.
