David C Kane

I am physician by training who hired Mr. Kane to save my ability to train and practice in the state of NJ. In the beginning, he said all the right things to earn my trust. In the end, he does not have any experience with a medical licensing board or physician licensing matters. I did not win my ap...peal and stay in residency training program. He bleeded me out of 10s of thousands of dollars without anything meaningful results or even a face to face with medical board. His front staff are inexperienced as well as his associate who was months later not working for Mr. Kane and working as an annuities associate. He said he had offices in Edison but instead I had to travel every time from north Jersey to Philadelphia. One good thing is he did return some of my phone calls but most of the time I was dealing with his apprentice who was a recent graduate. I was doing half the work myself providing him my work performance files and suggesting approaches. I also edited and revised the final documents being sent to the medical board because I was not satisfied with the writing. I was dealing with people who had no clue but I was so afraid and in need of urgent help, that I trusted their rhetoric.

I endorse this attorney and law firm. I own multiple independent pharmacies, and many times I have called David Kane and his team to help us with our legal matters. He and his team are very experienced, and provides my family business with an extreme level of confidence and relief. With his help, our... business has been thriving over the past several months now. The only way I could give back to him is to give him my stamp of approval to any other business owners and pharmacists seeking his range of services.

I hired Mr. David Kane regarding some Federal and State Pharmacy administration issues. I have to say that I was very pleased with his approach to my matter. I owe him my life, he has kept me out of trouble and saved my career. He kept me abreast and updated on the progress of my case. He would keep ...in touch via emails and phone calls. He and some other gentlemen (John Detwiler and Darby ) would gave me weekly update calls and they would take additional calls if I had questions. Mr. Kane and his staff were very nice and would explain any development that arose. Mr. Kane was pretty reasonable when it comes to billing, he gave me various discounts and even reduced his hourly rate. I highly recommend Mr. Kane. He knows his stuff.

I asked David Kane & Associates to assist me in Pharmacy matters with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Boards of Pharmacy. He sent them both letters at least once or twice per week. His law clerk, John Detwiler talked to me personally almost every to update me about the work David Kane was doing for m...e. At first, I felt like I could have heard more from David Kane himself. But when there was a serious issue, he was available. And he answered his texts and emails within a few hours just about every time. His law clerk, John Detwiler, took calls at all hours and always responded to emails within a day or so. David Kane handled my matter quickly and effectively. It was a stressful experience but I could not have asked for better assistance. I would definitely recommend them to any pharmacist in need of counsel.

I hired this lawyer for a Board of Pharmacy case. For the consultation he was helpful saying he would provide constant communication and would expedite the process. As soon as the retainer was sent out, this lawyer continued to delay meeting. His assistant (John Detwiler) had given me the wrong addre...ss and required me to drive for 5 hours and meet him in his Philadelphia office to hand deliver police reports. Halfway through this meeting I had with him, he realized that I had not yet applied for my examination which we discussed in detail in the first phone conversation. He made more empty promises and false timelines that were continued to be delayed. He had told me to contact him on his cell phone if I needed anything. Anytime I would text him, his clerk would call me and the communication between me, the clerk (John Detwiler), and David Kane were clearly missing points. Of all the things that were discussed in the meeting, he focused on 1 point and would not do anything else. When I asked him about some of the other points of the discussion, he would ignore my request and he did not even remember some of the points I was bringing up and questions I was asking. When I expressed disappointment with the process, David Kane grew quickly frustrated and told me to talk to his clerk (John Detwiler) and hung up on me. I was not pleased with how he interacted with me so I proceeded to ask for a termination. Before I asked for the termination, John had told me the work they had done so far was definitely below $1000. When I had the bill sent to me, it was for over $3000. There is no plausible information presented to me for the work they had done. Most of it being phone conversations and research that was not provided to me. Overall, I find it extremely hard to trust this lawyer and would NEVER recommend him.
