Michael Fiorentino has served our community group very well in our appeal of the air quality permit for a gas pipeline in southeastern Pennsylvania. This has been a long, five year plus ordeal for us. Michael helped us navigate through this complicated legal process. Michael represented us first a...t the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board then brought a successful appeal at the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. Then in Federal District Court, then onto the Federal 3rd Circuit of Appeals and finally to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. In all of these hearings the Judges ruled in our favor. As a result, our right to challenge the DEP air quality permit in a state administrative hearing, rather than in Federal court, was affirmed. Michael's diligent research, excellent preparation and his "game day" performance helped us win out against a much bigger and well funded foe. Michael is also a very personable individual, and he took the time to patiently explain difficult to understand legal concepts to all of our families. We all highly recommend Michael as a top notch environmental lawyer!

Michael represented my preservation group Save Marple Greenspace and, later, the Whetstone Coalition which both fought to protect a 213 acre forested area in Delaware County. His knowledge of land use, zoning, and environmental law helped us fight off a very wealthy developer who had a platoon of at...torneys. They were no match for Michael. He vanquished them, horse and foot.
