Michael A. Burns provides knowledge and experience in real estate and business matters. Throughout his legal career Burns has litigated numerous jury and non-jury trials and smaller arbitration matters across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in New Jersey. He has handled hundreds of residential and commercial transactions, tax sales, tax appeals, quiet title actions and landlord/tenant situations. Additionally, he has set up various business entities, drafted contractual agreements, employee handbooks, merger and acquisition documents and handled dissolution filings.
Michael is also a licensed real estate broker maintaining an associate license with Chaddsford Realty, LLC. He has also served on several boards as legal counsel, director and in advisory roles for profit, non-profit, bar associations and school boards.
Michael regularly teaches real estate law for the Delaware County Bar Association, Delaware County Paralegal Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
He is presently the Judge for District Court 32-2-42 serving the boroughs of Glenolden and Norwood.

Bad lawyer
I hired burns law 18 months ago for some legal work. They told me numerous times to trust in them that the work is getting completed. Now I’m finding out they never started the work and I paid a 5k retainer 18 months ago. I’m extremely disappointed on how unprofessional Mike is. Stay away.

Felonies Dismissed
I hired Mike to represent me on a felony fraud case in Montgomery county where I was caught red handed. I had bad felony priors. A few moments in the courthouse and him speaking to the DA and I walked out w a misdemeanor and probation. I recommend him.
