OUTCOME: Held that: 1) evidence supported finding that former boyfriend's act in punching refrigerator did not warrant DVRO; and 2) judge's comments did not indicate high probability of judicial gender bias which violated right to fair trial.

Former girlfriend filed request for domestic violence restraining order against former boyfriend. The Superior Court, San Francisco County, Judge denied the request, and former girlfriend appealed and ... requested remand to different judge.
