It was more than obvious that Scott had experience, empathy, communication, and numerous other exemplary skills. We hired them to help us in a custody case that was very emotional and it had many moving parts. The...y not only got to know us, but they got to know the children on a personal level. This made it much easier for them as they went through this very hard time in their life. I couldn’t be more impressed with how Scott navigated the court system. He obviously is respected by his peers as well as the judges and hearing officers. Even though our case was settled issues pop up from time to time and when I reach out they respond quickly with the guidance that I need. A friend recommended Scott and he lived up to every high expectations that had been set.

I expected a bit more engagement given the investment. So, here's my takeaway: if you're diving into family law (or any legal matter), don’t hesitate to advocate for yourself! Set up those regular check-ins, ask questions, and ensure you're getting the clarity you deserve. Communication is key, and it can make all the difference in your experience.

I wish I could give zero stars. Hiring Scott Lisgar for my child custody case was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. First, they charge outrageously high fees but completely fail to deliver on even the most basic aspects of service. For the amount of money I paid, I expected at least decent c...ommunication. Instead, I was met with constant silence and had to chase them down for updates every single time. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for days or even weeks. When I did manage to get a response, it was short, dismissive, and lacked any useful information. In such a stressful and sensitive situation, the last thing you need is to feel ignored by the person who is supposed to be advocating for you and your child. It’s clear they care more about collecting fees than actually helping their clients. I deeply regret hiring Scott Lisgar and would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration, heartache, and money.
